Parkerizing

                  I use a manganese phosphate Parkerizing solution that produces a medium to dark gray color. There are

             slight variations in the colors of Parkerized steel, due to hardness and other alloys that are present. Some

             sheet metal or stamped parts don't turn out quite as dark as other machined components. There will be

             variations in the color of parts that have "spot hardened" areas.  There are several examples of my
